Artajasa Focuses on Implementing Bersama Debit Card

Nusa Dua, Bali – PT Artajasa Pembayaran Elektronis (Artajasa) focuses itself implementing Bersama Debit card in 2016 as an effort for new company product and increasing services for customer.

Human Capital & Finance Director of Artajasa, Nawawi, said that with Bersama Debit Card, banks that don’t have capability to produce their own card can use the company service.

“We will operate Debit Bersama. In 2016, we will focuses on implementing Debit Bersama,” he said in Nusa Dua, Bali, Thursday (4/7/2016).

Nawawi explained that their company have partnerted with 87 institutions, including banks, regional banks, and telcom companies with more than 250 million transactions every year. He said that minimum transaction every year is around 150 trillion rupiahs.

“From 87 bank and non bank institutions, there are few that don’t have debit card and don’t have the supports to make debit card. So we help them,” he said.

Meanwhile, VP Corporate Secretary of Artajasa, Zul Irfan added that in 2016, Artajasa will also improve the feature in payment system in ATM Bersama.

“Because there so mant improvements like mobile feature and e-commerce trend,” he explained.

ATM business managed by Artajasa, cash out transaction still dominate most transactions than transfer service. The total of monthly transaction in ATM Bersama reached 25 million transactions, around 60% transactions is from cash transactions and 40% transfer.
